Ms. Siepiola's Fearless Falcons

The Fearless Falcons will be working on a Heritage Map for this year's auction. The artwork will be exhibited and sold at our Auction Gala night on 2/8/14 at the Katzen Arts Center. We hope you can join us there.

Our project is inspired by Jane Hammond's "Hand Held" shown here.

Step 1: Creating a map of the US, with 22 "States" - one for each child in the Falcon Class.

Step 2: Cutting out shapes from muslin. Each child will work on his / her individual piece.

Step 3: Researching our heritage. Whether from Poland...

...or Jamaica.

We started working on the project on January 10.
